YPI Evaluation Report

Thus found the independent evaluation of the Youth and Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) for 2007-2008, its inaugural year in UK schools. YPI, an Institute for Philanthropy programme, gives secondary school students a hands-on experience of philanthropy through which they analyse the social needs of their communities. Teams of pupils in each school build relations with local charities and compete for the opportunity to grant £3,000 to the local charity they believe is doing the best work.
