Annual Report
We have just produced our first annual report and would like to share it with you. It has been a year in which we have made exciting progress with each of our programmes, as we look to raise the quality and quantity of giving both in the UK and internationally. 2007 has seen the emergence of our Youth and Philanthropy Initiative in British schools, the successful launch of our Next Generation Philanthropy programme for young inheritors between the ages of 18 and 30, and the growing strength of our Philanthropy Workshop. In collaboration with the Community Foundation Network, we have established Community Foundation Futures, a philanthropy training programme for community foundation staff in the UK. We have also published Give Differently, our "how-to" guide to philanthropy, and Investment Matters, our research and recommendations as to how charities can better manage their financial assets.
