Diana Parker is a trustee for the Institute for Philanthropy and is a solicitor specialising in Family Law. After graduating from Cambridge University she qualified as a solicitor with Withers and was made a partner in 1987. In 1991 she took over as Head of the Family Law Department until taking office as the firm's Senior Partner in January 1999. The firm merged with a US law practice in January 2002 and was incorporated as a Limited Liability Partnership, when she became its Chairman.
Diana Parker has given papers at conferences in the UK and abroad and served on various professional committees including the Solicitors Family Law Association, the London Marriage Guidance Council and the Family Mediators Association (which she co-founded). She is also a member of the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
