Chairman: Beatrice Hollond
Beatrice Hollond joined the Institute for Philanthropy as its Chairman in 2011.
She is an advisory Fellow of Pembroke College, Oxford and Chairman of the College's endowment fund. After graduating she was firstly an equity analyst at Morgan Grenfell and then for many years a fund manager of institutional fixed income and currency portfolios at Credit Suisse Asset Management, leaving in 2001 to chair a prominent UK family investment office. Her current non executive board directorships include chairing Keystone Investment Trust and chairing the audit committee of Henderson Smaller Companies Investment Trust.
She is a trustee of the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation and on its investment committee. She is a governor of Bryanston School in Dorset and on the Financial Advisory Group of Salisbury Cathedral. She holds an MA in Oriental Languages (Arabic) from Oxford University. She has four children and divides her time between London and Dorset.
