Programmes Assistant: Kat Gillett

 

Kat has been at the Institute for Philanthropy since February 2008 as a Programmes Assistant. She assists on various programmes and events at the Institute including Think Philanthropy as well as organizing the annual celebration events for the Youth and Philanthropy Initiative. Kat also supports Sal LaSpada in his role as Chief Executive. Before joining the Institute for Philanthropy Kat worked on eco-documentary Age of Stupid as a production assistant and also assisted the director and producer on the UK wide premiere. Kat graduated from Otago University in New Zealand with a science degree in Biochemistry and an arts degree in Theatre Studies and Psychology. Outside of her work at the Institute, Kat works in theatre as a director and has taken shows to the Edinburgh and Brighton Fringe Festivals as well as Latitude Festival.
