Events Manager: Kat Gillett
Kat joined the Institute for Philanthropy as a Programmes Assistant in 2008 and is now Events Manager. She runs a wide range of events at the Institute including Think Philanthropy seminars and receptions as well as organizing the annual celebration events for the Youth and Philanthropy Initiative. Before joining the Institute for Philanthropy Kat worked on the eco-documentary Age of Stupid as a production assistant and also assisted the director and producer on the UK wide premiere. Kat graduated from Otago University in New Zealand with a science degree in Biochemistry and an arts degree in Theatre Studies and Psychology. Outside of her work at the Institute, Kat has enjoyed involvement as both a director and producer of fringe theatre shows in London, Brighton and Edinburgh.
