YPI Programme Manager: Sarah Miller

Sarah is YPI Progamme Manager, having first joined the Institute in September 2010, as YPI Programme Associate. Prior to this, she spent two years as an English teacher and Curriculum Co-Ordinator at Westminster Academy in Paddington as part of the Teach First programme. It was here that she encountered YPI for the first time, delivering it to her year 9 class. She graduated from Selwyn College, Cambridge after three years of studying English Literature, organising college events and playing too much croquet and ultimate frisbee.

Most of her free time has been spent backpacking around South East Asia and Africa. She worked for 4 months on a project for working children in Quito, Ecuador, where she taught in local markets as well as in an educational centre.
