IT Administrator: Viktoriya Boyan
Viktoriya Boyan joined the Institute for Philanthropy in March 2010 to provide the team with web, hardware and software support. She has a background in Multimedia Computing and a BA in Linguistics from the University of London, Queen Mary College; she specialised in Second Language Acquisition and used knowledge of IT and linguistics to develop foreign language learning materials while working across Spain. She has also worked in the USA and Europe for the service sector industry, handling accounts in web, graphic communications, education and media.
Outside work, Viktoriya has various interests. She spent the summer of 2009 at Shandong University, China as part of an immersion programme on local language and cultures, where she volunteered with local organizations to raise road safety awareness in the region. Meanwhile, as a keen photographer, she has steadily been developing a portfolio of travel, aerial, fine art photography and graphic design.
