TPW and Next Generation Philanthropy Networks
A Life-Long Engagement with Philanthropy
We believe that, in order for philanthropists to grow in confidence and effectiveness as they go about their giving, they should be part of strong and thriving donor networks.
Our workshops are only the beginning of a donor's journey towards ever more engaged and effective giving.
The Philanthropy Workshop Alumni Network
Upon completion of The Philanthropy Workshop, participants are invited to join The Philanthropy Workshop Alumni Network Association.
Establised in 2000, the mission of The Philanthropy Workshop Alumni Network Association is:
To create an active, global network of strategic philanthropists who will come together with their skills, commitment and imagination to make a significant contribution to the pressing issues of our time.
We aim to facilitate this by:
1. Providing a forum for dialogue, mutual support, collaboration and transfer of innovation between members.
2. Encouraging interaction between alumni and programme participants for continued learning.
3. Organising educational initiatives and other services of importance to the members.
COST:
- Membership of The Philanthropy Workshop Alumni Network Association is free until the end of the calendar year in which participants complete the programme; there is an annual fee for subsequent years (See FAQ's for more details).

Next Generation Philanthropy Network
After finishing Next Generation Philanthropy participants will have a toolkit for effective grant-making and the seeds of their own strategic philanthropic programme; a deeper insight into the issues they care about, and a clearer picture of how they can work to solve them.
Alongside these new practical and conceptual skills, participants will be connected to a cross-Atlantic network of like-minded young peer individuals.
Subsequent to graduation from the programme the Institute for Philanthropy provides regular convening opportunities for alumni of Next Generation Philanthropy such as dinners, the launch of research papers and invitations to speaker evenings relevant to participants' funding interests or approach to giving.
